ROYAL Knights Eagles Club (RKEC) recently held its 10th General Membership Meeting where new officers for the year 2024 were elected.
The event took place at the Higala Cucina Restaurant in Cagayannde Oro city on Friday, October 6, 2023.
Alongside the election, an orientation session was conducted for new members who will be officially inducted on October 13.
The newly elected officers for the upcoming Eagle Year were even announced during the meeting.
Leading the club as President will be Kuya Bong Bragat, with Kuya Chino Espinosa serving as Vice President (Internal) and Kuya Herbert Serrano as Vice President (External).
The Secretary position will be fulfilled by Kuya Felizardo A. Ortiz, with Kuya Jason Cubos as the Assistant Secretary.
Managing the club's finances will be Kuya Rolando Chua as the Treasurer and Kuya Rene Salvo as the Assistant Treasurer.
Ensuring financial accountability as the Auditor will be Kuya Kyn Petalcorin, along with Kuya Simo as the Assistant Auditor.
For communication and public relations, Kuya Abing Brua and Kuya Bhambie Babia will serve as the Public Information Officers (PIO).
Maintaining order and safety as Peace Officers will be Kuya Jonie Fabro and Kuya Albert Alvarez.
Kuya Jeffrey Sarador and Kuya Daphty Reños will take on the role of Protocol Officers.
The election process will be overseen by Kuya Jun Caracho as the Comelec Officer.
Representing the club in the Assembly will be Kuya Bong Bragat, Kuya Eric Daabay, and Kuya Harold Santander, with Kuya Chanyl Gemoto as the Alternate Assemblyman.
In addition to the officers, the club also announced the names of the Board of Directors, including Kuya Earvin Medina, Kuya Ariel Arcño, Kuya Gerald Villaroya, Kuya Rey Francisco, Kuya Paolo, Kuya John Naelga, Kuya JM Aleria, Kuya Ryan Mañoza, Kuya Arvin Arangcon, Kuya Clint Arenal, Kuya Clint Robert Repompo, Kuya Kristopher Aleman, Kuya Donward, Kuya Bryan Yacapin, and Kuya Janssen Perez.
Outgoing RKEC President, Kuya Eric Daabay, expressed in his message that the election and membership meeting marked a significant event for RKEC.
He mentioned that the club welcomed new members and introduced a new set of officers to lead them in the upcoming Eagle Year.
"The club eagerly awaits the leadership and contributions of the newly elected officers," Daabay stated emphasizing the importance of fostering strong friendships and advancing the club's objectives and activities.
