THE recently launched #ColorRun4Fun of the Philippine Civil Service event proved to be an exhilarating experience for participants and a successful fundraising effort for a noble cause," said Sheila Lumbatan, the Chief of Staff of the City Mayor's Office, on Monday.
The organizers expressed their gratitude to everyone who contributed to making the event a resounding success, according to Lumbatan.
Lumbatan said, that not only did the participants enjoy the colorful run, but they also became donors to the Calabrian Children's Foundation, showing their support for a charitable organization dedicated to helping children in need.
The event mainly with the launching activity celebration of the Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, making it a memorable occasion for all involved, she said.
Participants, known as mga Kapwa Kawani, took part in the run with enthusiasm, promoting solidarity and camaraderie among civil servants.
"The colorful atmosphere created a joyful ambiance, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose," Lunbatan said.
The success of #ColorRun4Fun was also an opportunity to recognize and commend the hard work and creativity of the Human Resource Management Department (HRMD) in Cagayan de Oro City.
Lumbatan added, that the HRMD family, known for their brilliant minds, showcased their dedication and commitment to organizing a month-long event filled with excitement and grind.
"Their efforts were instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the run and its associated activities," Lumbatan stressed.
The event according to her, not only brought together civil servants from various departments but also engaged the wider community, encouraging them to contribute to a worthy cause.
