NORTHERN Mindanao's education department, led by Dr. Arturo B. Bayocot assisted by Dr. Federico P. Martin and their team used a system-based approach to handle their many duties.

These duties include starting the Brigada Eskwela program, running the National Learning Camp (NLC), and celebrating Indigenous People during August.

To manage these, they've used a process called EIRAD (Executive Immersion, Rapid Assessment, and De-Briefing).

People from the regional department joined with local schools, parents, and partners to kick off Brigada Eswela and monitor the NLC.

They also took time to honor Indigenous People.

The results have been very positive.

For example, at Cosina Integrated School, a remote school in Bukidnon where most students are Indigenous People, almost all parents took part in the Brigada kick-off.

They also had a good turnout for the National Learning Camp launch.

Community partners, like the Royal Knights Eagles Club, also helped with the Brigada activities and donated more supplies to the school.

Engr. Maria Fels 3 Trompeta from the regional office, who joined Martin, gave extra help in planning a new building for the school.

The system-based approach has been helpful in managing many activities at once.

This makes sure that important projects, which are part of their MATATAG initiative, always get the attention they need.

The regional education department believes that using EIRAD and a system-based approach will make their public service work even better.
