FRATERNAL Order of Eagles Philippine Eagles of the Northern Mindanao Region (NMR12) Bagwis Dos marked a momentous event in two hotels in Cagayan de Oro City, as they installed new club presidents and inducted officers throughout the region on Saturday, January 20.

The event began with an afternoon meeting at 1 pm at the Philtown Hotel, where Chartered Governor Eric Daabay led the first REXECOM meeting of the year. 

Top on the agenda was the club renewal for the Executive Year 2024 and the proposal of resolutions that included offering free insurance to all Bagwis Dos members, approving the General Appropriation Act for NMR XII, and discussing additional fees for new members that would support the Alalayang Agila fund. 

The committee also planned for inter-club activities and proposed collaborations with local government units (LGUs) and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) for upcoming projects and activities.

A significant resolution was to align club activities with the region's schedule, from February to December 2024.

The evening continued with a 6 pm mass induction of Bagwis Dos officers followed by the installations of club presidents and officers. 

Vice President of East-West Bank Northern Mindanao, Elmer Genosa Monsale, graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker. 

Monsale commended the strong camaraderie and commitment of the members of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, particularly the NMR-12 Bagwis Dos.

Although National President Eagle Ronald de los Santos was not present, his guidance and blessings were confirmed by Governor Eric Daabay, who led the pledge of allegiance to the fraternity. 

The Royal Knights Eagles Club organized this year's event, during which the incoming president for 2024, Eagle Renante Rio M. Bragat, was also installed following the tenure of the outgoing president, Eagle Ryan Manòza.

Committee on Awards and Recognition (CARE) Chairman Eagle Herbert Serrano extended his thanks to all the clubs that make up NMR-12 Bagwis Dos. 

These clubs include Aghasa-a Eagles Club, Villa Anchors Eagles Club, Tagoloan Eagles Club, Tagoloan Lady Eagles Club, East CDO Timbalo Eagles Club, Royal Knights Eagles Club, and Royal Knights Lady Eagles Club.

The attendees from East CDO Timbalo Eagles Club (ECTEC) were led by their president Eagle Philip Lloyd A. Angco, and included Eagle Efren C. Alaga, Eagle Randie A. Aplicador, Eagle Alvin J. Babia, Eagle Jason P. Andrade, Eagle Dewey P. Booc.
