BUTUAN City––Two people died while four others were hurt when a public van collided with a six-wheel truck along the highway in Purok 7, Bancasi, this city, on Tuesday morning. Police identified the dead as van driver Roy Trinquite, 30, and passenger Charlito Catacutan. Four other passengers were rushed to a hospital. Investigators said the van, bearing license plates LYF-895, was bound to Buenavista with six people on board when it collided head-on with the oncoming Butuan-bound truck loaded with pigs. The truck, bearing license plates GMF-608, was driven by Jerry Bermoy Matos, 35, who was slightly hurt. He is facing a case. -ben serrano
