By NORA SORIÑO GSD Iligan Bureau chief  ILIGAN City--Supporters of Mayor Celso Regencia yesterday trooped to the city jail again to stop the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) from bringing the detained local chief executive out. Regencia, detained in connection with the attempt on the life of Rep. Vicente Belomnte Jr. in 2014,  was scheduled to be brought to Branch 44 of the Regional Trial Court of Misamis Oriental under Judge Marissa Estabaya for a hearing. Voltaire Rovira, Regencia’s lawyer, said no hearing took place although prosecutors showed up in court. He said he and lawyer Demosthenes Plando went to the court to represent Regencia, and to file a motion to suspend the hearings in Misamis Oriental.
