In a recent development related to a sexual abuse complaint, a 27-year-old individual was apprehended last Wednesday afternoon in Lanao del Norte.
The arrested individual, identified as Juliemar Panghasian and a resident of Barangay Kirapan, was the subject of an arrest warrant. He had been designated as the top-priority most wanted suspect by local law enforcement.
Panghasian was taken into custody by a combined team comprising municipal law enforcement and The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group. The apprehension took place at approximately 2:30 pm.
The arrest was made under a warrant issued by Judge Alberto Quinto of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 21, dated October 4 of this year. Notably, the court stipulated that the suspect would not be eligible for bail.
As of now, the custody of the accused has been assumed by the municipal police.
