By LITO RULONA Correspondent TWO high school students were allegedly abducted by four men in Iponan here and then gangaped in Bukidnon last week without the police knowing about it. Iponan National High School principal Sylvio Carceller confirmed the kidnapping and gangape over local radio. “I confirm that there was an incident of kidnapping and gangape, victimizing our students,” he said. The principal said he has talked with the alleged victims and their families. The students were allegedly snatched in Kinasanghan, Iponan near a checkpoint of the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo), and then brought to a Bukidnon town where the gangaped allegedly took place. According to reports, the victims escaped and managed to return home on Sunday. Carceller said the alleged victims asked assistance because they want the suspects tried in court. He said the abduction took place last Tuesday night when the alleged victims were headed home from a fiesta gathering. “Gihunungan sila og panel nga L300, and went directly to the city proper... they were forced to drink intoxicating liquor,” he said. Carceller said one of the alleged victims was injected with something, and then she passed out. The next time they knew, he said, they were already in the bushes, “Niabot sila sa usa ka bodega pagka-kadlawon pero wala sila kahibalo asa dapit. Unya pag-abot nila didto naa po’y gipanggapos nga mga babae nga batan-on og luspad na kaayo gisulod sa usa ka room,” he said. One of the victim allegedly confirmed to the principal that the suspects started molesting them for several hours inside the warehouse. They allegedly ran off while the suspects were sleeping, and subsequently reached a road where they sought the help of motorists. Carceller said the alleged victims were brought to a terminal in  Malaybalay City where they were able to call their classmates to seek help. Hours later, they were fetched by their parents. “Karon pa nila gieport sa Bulua police station kay na-trauma pag-ayo ang mga victims,” Carceller said. The parents of the alleged victims reportedly brought the two to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) for examination.
