PLDT Inc.’s B2B arm, PLDT Enterprise, recently launched Tech Week PH 2025 in Davao City, drawing more than 500 attendees from across the region. The event reinforced the group’s commitment to empowering businesses and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Mindanao through advanced technologies and strategic partnerships.

In collaboration with government agencies and industry leaders, Tech Week PH highlighted how digital solutions can improve productivity, strengthen business resilience, and drive regional economic development. Key speakers included CJ Lacsican, vice president for cities at Grab Philippines, and Romeo Castañaga, regional director of the Department of Trade and Industry Region XI. They shared insights on digital transformation as a tool for regional growth, including initiatives to boost MSME productivity, accelerate AI adoption, and enhance the startup ecosystem. Grab also showcased its efforts to digitalize transport and equip MSMEs with tech-driven solutions.
The event placed a strong focus on artificial intelligence (AI), exploring its potential to revolutionize business operations, spur innovation, and create new opportunities across Mindanao. Experts emphasized the importance of cloud technologies and robust infrastructure in supporting AI-driven solutions.
