MAJORITY of the events played in the ongoing 2023 Civil Service Commission Sportsfest at the Capitol ground in Cagayan de Oro City saw a lopsided match in the championship round such as in chess, basketball, and volleyball team rivalries.
Not in table tennis competition, however, as the Cluster 2 Black Panthers needed a full five-setter to overcome the Red Stallions who mightily fought back tooth and nail to force a 2-2 standoff before capitulating in the no-tomorrow fifth-set struggle.
Whew! What a match!
