Phil Paalan dies at 73

Iligan City — Phil Paalan died on Jan. 4 of a lingering illness at a hospital in this city. He was 73.

Paalan wrote for this paper in the early 90’s for a short time but later went on as a freelancer.

His remains lies at Mary Venus Funeral Homes at Acmac, Sta. Felomina. According to Ric Clet, assistant to the President of Iligan Tri Media, Inc. of which Paalan is a member, interment will be early this week, details of which is still to be announced by the family.
