MANILA – Local share prices closed above the 7,600-level on Thursday, extending its winning streak to a sixth day, still on optimism over Greek debt deal. The barometer Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) surged 58.09 points or 0.77 percent to 7,617.13 from previous day’s 7,559.04 close. “Near-term risk still points to a test of the 7,800 levels as the lower valuation is encouraging investors to enter,” said Banco de Oro chief market strategist Jonathan Ravelas. Some 1.71 billion shares worth Php6.90 billion changed hands. Advancers continued to outpace decliners, 101 to 66, while 38 issues were unchanged. pna
