THE Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) is urging the public to report drug-related activities, offering safe and confidential channels for whistleblowers.
According to PDEA-10 Provincial Officer Expedito P. Cardona, Jr., the province has seen a significant decline in drug presence, with the affectation rate dropping from 94.81% in 2017 to 17.4% today, affecting only 74 barangays.
To achieve a completely drug-free province, PDEA is seeking community support and providing hotlines for reporting prohibited drug users, sellers, and illegal activities while ensuring informants’ safety and privacy.
