The holiday season is approaching, and Christmas parties are a beloved tradition worldwide. For nature lovers, Pabukid sa Indahag is an ideal outdoor venue to consider booking for your next party venue with a panoramic mountain view located in Kamakawan, Barangay Indahag, Cagayan de Oro City.

Pabukid sa Indahag offers affordability along with amenities such as a camping ground, swimming pool, function hall, two restaurants (Hogs & Cattle and Cayla's Tuna), ample parking spaces, and air-conditioned rental rooms.

Earlier this week, me and my group of friends along with our family visited and booked Pabukid sa Indahag last week for our annual get-together. We as a group enjoy going camping to get away from the bustling city, It's also a nice way for us to spend time with our family away from our busy work schedule. We also get a chance to bond and let our kids experience the outdoor life. Teaching them how to set up camps, start a fire, grill, and prepare food for everyone to share.

The booking process was relatively swift and enough for us to decide quickly that "we would want to experience what Pabukid sa Indahag has to offer". Which we thought was quite convenient as all our inquiries were met online via its Facebook page. We opted to avail of their room, which was near the poolside and was very cozy clean, and fully air-conditioned which is good for 3 but could accommodate over 10 (just bring your own futon) meanwhile most of us men set up camp outside.

There are chairs and long tables available near to poolside which makes it even better for safety reasons when our kids are enjoying a dip in the pool (3 ft.). The pool rate is P75 (adults) P50 (children).

Food and Drinks

Pabukid sa Indahag offers a wide variety of food courtesy of Hogs & Cattle a steakhouse restaurant that offers an all-day breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner menu - that are delicious yet affordable. It also has alcoholic beverages to choose from. Cayla's Tuna is also located here and for those who loves seafood they got you covered.

Camping ground

Camping at Pabukid sa Indahag is a great experience because, although it is secluded in Kamakawan, it's just a few minutes away from the center of Barangay Indahag. There, you'll find wet markets that offer fresh fish, meat, and vegetables, so you don't have to pack too much in advance. If you forget to purchase something, you can easily drive to the market to get it. The camping ground itself is flat and free of rocky obstacles, which adds to its appeal. In the evening, you can gather around a designated bonfire area to grill food and roast marshmallows while enjoying a peaceful night by the fire.

If you don't have your own tent don't worry, you can rent one for P500 as well as hamaks. Like us, we still had to pay for the overnight stay at P150/head (adult) and P100 (children).

Function hall

Although we didn't use the function hall this time it has a spacious venue great for birthdays, corporate parties, weddings, and any special occasion for that matter. It has two rates one for the afternoon and the other for the evening with an ample parking space ready to cater to your guests.

Rooms and accommodation

The room we rented is likely the most spacious one available, complete with its own bathroom. It features tiled floors and a queen-size bed that can be separated into two single beds if needed. Although it's designed for three people, the room can accommodate more guests if you bring your own futon. Since we exceeded the limit of three adults, we had to pay an additional fee per person: adults were charged P150, and kids P100.

Safety

For overnight guests, you don't have to worry too much about security and safety as the area is gated and closed at around 10 p.m. Pabukid sa Indahag has another side of beauty to it. During daytime you can enjoy the landscape of nature, and at night you get to experience a real outdoor sense, the quietness of the surroundings, the cool night breeze, and the warm comfort of the bonfire.

Pet Friendly

Pabukid sa Indahag is also a pet-friendly venue for your fur babies to dine in and the lush greenery area that your pets would surely enjoy exploring.

Digital friendly

In the name of convenience, it's a must-have for any store to provide customers with multiple ways to pay. Luckily, Pabukid sa Indahag accepts both cash and eWallet payments as modes of payment for your purchases and payments. In terms of mobile signal strength, all networks are available and they also have wifi.

Overall, the experience we had at Pabukid sa Indahag was awesome. Everything was simple and reachable; from the transaction to the follow-up purchases outside the venue, it was relatively convenient, and we can honestly recommend it to others. who like us, enjoy nature activities and convenience. With the ongoing upgrades, it is currently ongoing to improve its services. The next time we visit it might be even better.
