COTABATO CITY — Police arrested six persons and seized about 70 sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or “shabu” in an anti-drug operation in Matalam, North Cotabato Monday morning, officials said. Police has identified the existence of a shabu “tiangge” in Purok Islam, Barangay Pobla-cion, Matalam, North Cotaba-to where the raid was conducted. Arrested in the raid were Nasser Salandang Talagipan, Datulok Mabulok Guianon aka Dats, Soraida Amelil, Nora Salandang, Fahima Sali Makalimod and her live-in parnet Wilfredo Ijonales. Chief Insp. Bernard Tayong, spokesperson of North Cotabato police office, said the raiding team was armed with warrants of arrest by Judge Arvin Balagot of Regional Trial Court Branch 17 in Kidapawan City. (PNA)
