THE National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) held its annual stakeholder consultation to discuss the Transmission Development Plan (TDP) for 2025-2050, focusing on future grid expansion and modernization.
The event, conducted across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, aims to align the country's energy infrastructure with government and industry goals.
NGCP engaged with key agencies including the Department of Energy (DOE), the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC), and other industry players to gather insights and feedback.

NGCP President and CEO Anthony Almeda highlighted the importance of stakeholder collaboration in shaping a resilient and sustainable energy future, emphasizing plans to incorporate renewable energy and smart grid technologies.
