HUNDREDS of newly licensed professional teachers took their oath Monday, June 23, at the Atrium of Limketkai Center in a face-to-face ceremony organized by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Hon. Paz I. Lucido, vice chairperson of the Board for Professional Teachers, presided over the event and delivered the keynote address.
She pointed out the essential role educators play in shaping future generations by fostering respectful learning environments, building rapport, and practicing active listening.

The oathtaking ceremony was held for passers of the March 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) who registered online before the June 22 deadline.
After the ceremony, inductees were expected to complete their initial registration with the PRC and claim their professional identification cards, officially marking the start of their careers in the teaching profession.
