THE chairman of the city council’s energy committee yesterday lashed out at the National Power Corp.-Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (Napocor-Psalm) for snubbing invitations for it to shed light on Mindanao’s power situation, saying it has long been keeping Mindanaoans in the dark. Councilor Teodulfo Lao Jr., the committee chairman, said this even as he called on Congress to summon officials of the Napocor-Psalm so they could answer for the daily rotating blackouts here and elsewhere in Mindanao. Lao said the city council committee has repeatedly invited Napocor-Psalm officials to a meeting. “Dili sila motunga.”  He urged the city council to pass a resolution to request Congress to summon and investigate Napocor-Psalm officials in connection with the power crisis.
