SWASHBUCKLING wins continue for Misamis Oriental baseball teams in the Mindanao leg of the Philippine Series that will be contested until February 3 in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon.
The Paglaum Sports-backed athletes’ readiness can be gleaned from another set of impressive wins on Day Two hostilities as MisOr whitewashed Davao del Norte, 11-1 as a quick follow-up of its 11-0 thumping of host Malaybalay in the opener of the Minor League rivalry.

The wards of Misamis Oriental ABC President Emmanuel Felix Pupos were also relentless in their Little League campaign, dishing off another 17-1 triumph at the expense of Aleosan.
They battered earlier Sultan Kudarat with an 11 to-nil rampage during the opening-day action.

The MisOr teams bashed on celebration with a complete wipe-out on sunny Monday as its Intermediate 50/70 squad bounced back from a 2-10 debacle at the hands of the tough Zamboanga with a 15-0 shellacking of Sultan Kudarat.
In the secondary level, MisOr manhandled Valencia City, 20-3 as its Softball Girls also remain unbeaten with an 11-5 thrashing of the visitors from the Sarangani province.

“Kumbate lang gyod unta magtuloy-tuloy na makaabot tanan sa finals ang MisOr teams. Today (January 30) will be the real test of might for our 13-under athletes who will be facing the team nga nakapildi sa Zamboanga,” MisOr’s coaching staff member Emman Chiu Pupos told Gold Star Daily.
