THE Department of Health (DOH) has given the Misamis Oriental capitol awards for its implementation of health programs in the province last year. The DOH in Region recently gave the awards to the Provincial Health Office (PHO) of Misamis Oriental. These were received on behalf of Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano by Dr. Bebina Casino, Misamis Oriental health officer, during the 2015 Mega Program Implementation Review. The capitol received the awards for its programs on family planning that received a 65-percent accomplishment rating, maternal and child health pre-natal visits (91 percent), nutrition and   Garantisadong Pambata (97 percent), fully immunized child program (95 percent).
