Claim: More investors will come in under the Marcos Jr presidency

Category: Misleading

Complete Details: A video posted on Youtube by user Pilipinas Malakas claims that in an SMNI interview, Presidential Adviser on Entrepreneurship Joey Concepcion that the new administration will be more open in the entry of foreign investors, saying he believes that the incoming President will open the country to foreign investment. It also included a clip of an unidentified foreign person saying that foreign companies should be able to own a majority of equity.

Why we fact-check this: The video is misleading. At no point did Concepcion give a definitive statement that would support the video's premise, instead of opening that he believes that the incoming President will do so. The video lacks in content and does not present any facts to support its premise.
