VARIOUS cause-oriented groups in Mindanao got together today virtually to air their report on the situation in Mindanao.
In a Zoom conference entitled “State of Mindanao Address: Grading the Performance of the Administration in Mindanao,” the activity was spearheaded by Gitib, Inc., an organization with advocacies relating to children, indigenous peoples, and the environment, and was participated by other organizations in Mindanao.
Invited speakers discussed the current administration’s achievements in the sectors of labor, foreign policy, environment, energy, human rights, women and children, and the war on drugs.
There were also renewed calls by the participating groups for the fulfillment of President Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign promises and the delivery of his commitments as he enters the final year of his presidency.
