In celebration of Kong Hua School’s 88th founding anniversary, several alumni batches came together to share meaningful gifts — tokens of gratitude that honor the institution that shaped their youth and values.
Batches 1998, 1999, and 2000 brought back the beat, literally, with a set of Chinese war drums now proudly prepared for festivities on campus. The familiar sound adds life to school events and carries the spirit of unity that Kong Hua has always stood for.
This year’s host batch, Batch 2000, also poured their hearts into a few thoughtful upgrades — 105 armchairs, 15 solar-powered LED floodlights, and hand soap dispensers with refills for the school community. Simple things, but all meant to make campus life a little brighter, cleaner, and more comfortable for the next generation of Konghuanians.
Every gift was a small way of saying thank you; a reminder that no matter where life takes them, the Kong Hua spirit always brings them back. Because in this ohana, family isn’t just remembered, it’s felt.
This meaningful activity is among many as Alumni Homecoming host batch, KHS 2000 invites Kong Hua alumni to come home to celebrate friendship, gratitude, and the enduring Konghuanian spirit at the KHS “LU-WOW PARTY. The event will happen on December 6 at Limketkai Atrium. Doors open at 5pm.
