When the delegates arrived bands played contemporary Christian songs and dance presentations. It was an amazing display of talents coming from young people and talented individuals. During the program worship songs were being played and prayers were being offered. Prayers for the arts, for the government, for the science and technology, for the family and to different sectors of the society were being offered for prayer. The celebration started from 3pm and ended at 6pm.
Leaders from different churches were being united and the whole Christiandom in Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental mingled with each other.
After the grand Celebration, a concert followed much to the delight of young people where they just danced and jump to the songs from bands who played known Christian hits. This kind of activity promotes unity among people and emphasize the need to be part and connect with other people. Jesus Reigns have become an avenue for Christians to come together and set aside denominational differences and just celebrate love for each other and pay tribute to Jesus Christ.
Gatherings like this will be a tool for achieving peace among each other that will ripple to other sectors of the society. A joint effort in making a difference to Misamis Oriental and to the rest of the country. If a people united under God humble themselves, and pray, and seek God, and turn from their wicked ways; then God will hear from heaven, forgive their sin and heal their land.
