By Edwin Iyo, Correspondent Gingoog City — A 19-year old man who hanged himself was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician in the Emergency Room of Misamis Oriental Provincial Hospital here, yesterday. Dr. Quennie Pacaña identified the victim as Elven Raotaot, 19, and a resident of Purok 2A, Barangay 19, this city. The victim’s relative found his dead body hanging inside his room at around 10:00 in the morning. “Nag away mana sila sa iyang ka live-in sayo sa buntag ganina,” Helen Raotraot mother of the victim said. The older Raotraot added: “Selos ang giawayan og akong anak nag selos sa iyang asawa.” The police immediately conducted an investigation to determine the real cause of the victim to determine if there was foul play.
