Gingoog City — Vice Mayor Ruthie de Lara Guingona said she will looking for a possible solution on the problem of housing backlog in the city.
Guingona estimates the housing backlog in the city to be at least 10,000 houses.
“Sa ako pa kini pana-hon nga mayor pa ako nga problema,” Guingona admits.
Guingona said she will be talking to city mayor Marie Guingona, her daughter, to discuss the city’s problem on housing.
She added she will also talk to City Councilor Myrna Motoomull who heads the city’s committee on urban poor and development in finding a solution.
The housing program was then continued by Mayor Marie Guingona which benefited about 2,000 recipients.
