By EDWIN IYO Correspondent GINGOOG City--The city council here has approved two resolutions giving the Mayor Marie Guingona the green light to proceed with the transactions needed for the implementation of farm-to-market road projects worth P173.4 million. Councilor Thaddeus Lugod authored the resolution authorizing Guingona to enter into agreements for the implementation of Kalogonoy, San Miguel farm-to-market road amounting to P66 million. Lugod also pushed for the approval of another resolution giving the same authority to Mayor Guingona to implement another farm-to-market road project worth P107 million for Malibud, Kainlagan and Dinawihan. The two resolutions which gave the mayor authorization to enter into contract with the winning bidders were approved with no objections from the city council’s majority under Vice Mayor  Ruth de Lara Guingona. The resolutions also gave her the authority to purchase materials and equipment to be used for the construction of the projects.
