GINGOOG City — A 51-year-old man is in police custody after allegedly killing his two sons with a hammer at their residence in Purok 2, Barangay 17, Gingoog City, at around 10 a.m. Thursday.
The victims, aged 21 and 19, were reportedly suffering from health issues.Gingoog City Police Chief Lt. Col. Dennis de los Santos confirmed the incident but stated that investigators are still gathering information regarding the circumstances.
Authorities have recovered the hammer used in the crime.While the suspect is detained, police said the motive remains unclear and are appealing for witnesses to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
