COMPLETE DETAILS: A Facebook post listed several issues/ controversies supposedly attributable to the Liberal Party members, with the accompanying pictures showing former President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, former Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas, and incumbent Vice President and Presidential candidate Ma. Leonor Robredo. The post insinuates that all these issues/controversies are the reason why the people should not vote for Robredo to avoid incurring similar issues/controversies if she wins.
WHY WE FACT CHECK: These accusations of the abovementioned issues/controversies are directed or blamed to Liberal Party members holding government positions without substantial/ definitive proof, and no charges were filed against the portrayed individuals in this post. Also, all of the listed issues/controversies cannot be attributed to Vice President Robredo, as these are national issues and she had no direct link to any of these. These include those from President Corazon Aquino's term to President Duterte's. Others were when she was a congresswoman and was not even remotely linked to these controversies.
