CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY — Hundreds of residents, particularly families affected by recent fire incidents in Barangay Lapasan and nearby communities, are set to receive free healthcare services during a medical mission organized by the Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles Inc. on May 15.
In a courtesy approval request submitted to Barangay Lapasan Chairman Julito “Kuya Kap Lilit” Ogsimer, the group said the “National Alalayang Agila – Medical Mission” will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 noon in the said barangay.
The outreach will be conducted by Eagles members from Northern Mindanao Regions 19, 12, and 13 in coordination with the barangay and the Lapasan Arcadia Eagles Club headed by Club President Kuya Mark Anthony B. Bustamante.

The activity is being led under the leadership of Eagle Alene Cabaron Valencia, chartered regional governor of Northern Mindanao Region 19 for Eagle Year 2024–2026.
Free services include eyeglasses, medical check-ups for children and adults, ECG (electrocardiogram), wart removal, and general medical consultations.
NMR-12 (Bagwis Dos) Charter Governor Eagle Eric Daabay said fire-affected families and residents needing medical attention may avail themselves of free healthcare services at no cost.
Daabay also encouraged beneficiaries to arrive early since only 400 slots will be accommodated. Residents may coordinate with barangay officials for registration details and schedules.
According to Daabay, a meet-and-greet and medical assistance activity will also be held on May 14 at 6 p.m. at Philtown Hotel ahead of the medical mission.
Organizers said the medical mission is the second wave of assistance from the Eagles National Office under the leadership of Eagle National President Kuya Ronald F. Delos Santos following recent relief operations in fire-hit communities.
Earlier assistance reportedly reached 245 families in Barangay Lapasan, 30 families in Barangay Agusan, 70 families in Barangay Camaman-an, and two families in Barangay Balulang.
Distinguished Eagles officials and medical professionals expected to attend include Daabay, who is also a member of the Board of Trustees of TFOE-PE Inc.; Eagle Lando Agustin, Regional Governors League executive vice chairman; Eagle Romeo Bautista, vice president for Luzon and member of the Board; Eagle Archie Ello, Northern Mindanao Region 12 regional governor; and Eagle Glenn Escarda Sr., Northern Mindanao Region 13 regional governor.
