TAGOLOAN, Misamis Oriental — Hundreds of residents in four barangays in Tagoloan now have easier access to clean water after the Tagoloan Eagles Club and the Tagoloan Lady Eagles Club installed water pumps in their communities.
The project, carried out under the groups' "Gugma sa Pagserbisyo" (Love in Service) campaign, aims to provide families with a reliable source of clean water for drinking, cooking, sanitation, and other daily needs.
For years, residents in the four barangays struggled with limited access to safe water, forcing many families to travel long distances or spend money to secure their daily supply.
The water pump installations were made possible through the efforts of Tagoloan Eagles Club President Martin A. Emano, Tagoloan Lady Eagles Club President Marites Vacalares, Eagle King John Emano, and NMR XII Bagwis Dos Governor Archie Cabingas Ello.
Working with community members, they mobilized resources and helped install the water systems in the beneficiary barangays.
Ello said the project will improve the health and well-being of residents by providing a more convenient and dependable source of clean water.
> "For the residents, this project is more than just infrastructure—it represents health, dignity, and a lighter daily burden," Ello said.
He added that families will no longer have to walk long distances or spend their hard-earned money just to access clean water.
"This is what Gugma sa Pagserbisyo is all about—seeing the needs of our neighbors and working together to provide lasting help," Emano said.
The Tagoloan Eagles Club and the Tagoloan Lady Eagles Club said the water pump project reflects their commitment to improving communities through practical and sustainable service, bringing lasting benefits to families in the four barangays.
