CORAZON Del Fierro, the founder of the Corpus Christi School, passed away yesterday. She was 80 years old.
Founded in November 1975 as Little Schoolhouse, Corpus Christi School is one of the biggest private schools in Cagayan de Oro City, with campuses in Barangay Macasandig and in Pueblo Uptown. It counts Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach as one of its alumni.
She is survived by her daughter, Marla Jennifer Del Fierro- Quiaoit, and her son Mark Alfonso Del Fiero.
No further details were released by the family as of this posting.
