By LITO RULONA Correspondent CITY hall yesterday offered a reward of P100 thousand in exchange for information that could lead to the arrest of the killer of Roads and Traffic Administration (RTA) team leader Cris Cabingas. Councilor Zaldy Ocon, who is acting mayor because Mayor Oscar Moreno is  in China, said he signed a document making the fund available. Last week, police pressed murder charges against an alleged gun-for-hire identified as Alex Masacal and an accomplice. City police director Senior Supt. Ronnie Francis Cariaga said Masacal was allegedly moving from Lanao del Norte, Bukidnon to Misamis Oriental, vice versa. During the Sunday funeral, Cabingas’s 69-year old mother called on city hall and local officials to help them in their quest for justice. On Saturday, Ocon said during the wake at city hall: “Ako nanawagan nga mo-surrender siya (Masacal) bisan asa nga police station, and to disclose the name of the person who hired him.”
