VIRGILIA ‘Bebing’ Dumadag, Special Assistant to the Governor of Misamis Oriental, had her presence and attention-grabbing antics adding color and excitement on Wednesday’s volleyball games of the ongoing Civil Service Commission Sportsfest at the Provincial Capitol ground in Cagayan de Oro City.

Board member Gerardo ‘Boboy’ Sabal and Capitol sports caretakers Tommy Cailing and Reynand Fuentes are also with the appreciative crowd, enjoying the unique coaching style of Dumadag who’s brandishing a stick to intimidate the opposing team and her error-prone charges too.

Also taking center stage in the two-week-long sportsfest are the featured events in basketball, chess, dart, table tennis, and badminton.

The lone guest squad from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI-10) defied the age of its mostly veteran members to make it to the top-four semifinal round in basketball competition.

Makalingaw kaayo kay bisan strict ilang policy when it comes to government-related works, pag-abot sa sports they're just the same with us enjoy bibo kaayo ang atmosphere. Grabe ang laban ni ma'am Bebing (Dumadag) sa Cluster 1 Blue Eagles pero unsaon mas kusog man ang mga rival teams sa ballgames,” a delighted Provincial Sports Development Office head Reynand Fuentes told Gold Star Daily.
