GINGOOG City ― All private and public cemeteries, memorial parks, columbaria of this city have been ordered closed during the commemoration of All Saints and All Souls Days, under Mayor Erick G. Cañosa as he issued an Executive Order No 51 series of 2021.

Cañosa’s order is based on the Inter-Agency Task Force IATF guidelines for Undas 2021.

The said order will take effect starting tomorrow to November 2 this year to minimize the risk of super spreader events during the days mentioned, Cañosa added.

People may visit their dearly departed before and after the said dates, Cañosa said.

He urged the public to follow his order that they will be allowed 10 people per group and the venue must be allowed 30% in its capacity at a given time.

Cañosa reminds also the public of wearing face masks all the time and observes social distancing while inside the cemetery.

Members and Officers of the Philippine National Police, the Bureau of Fire and Penology, City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, Philippine Red Cross Gingoog Chapter are mandated to strictly enforce the guidelines provided of the said order.
