THE Gingoog Inter-Agency Basketball Tournament concluded with thrilling matches at the ASL Gymnasium, as Team Bay Bankers emerged victorious in the championship game, defeating Team Desmark 60-53.
In the battle for third place, Team Gaisano Gingoog dominated Team Ficco with a convincing 65-46 win.
Gaisano pulled away in the fourth quarter, capitalizing on controlled plays to secure the victory.
Ficco’s comeback attempt fell short, as Gaisano fans erupted in celebration inside the gymnasium.
The championship clash between Team Bay Bankers and Team Desmark lived up to the hype.
The Bay Bankers held a 13-point lead by the third quarter, but Team Desmark fought back, narrowing the deficit to just four points.
However, the resilient Bay Bankers regained control in the final quarter, executing key plays under pressure to secure their first championship after finishing as runners-up in the previous season.
Following the games, the awarding ceremony honored the top three teams with trophies and cash prizes, marking a successful end to a highly competitive season.
