The Compañeros (Batch 2010) overtook Batch 2011 (6-2) for the lead in St. Jean de Brebeuf Alveo Cup’s Bracket D with a 6-1 record, while the 2007 Wolves shared the lead with Batch 2005 at 5-2 in St. Ignatius of Loyola Cup Bracket C.
The prestigious Xavier University High School (XUHS) Alumni Basketball is nearing the playoff round of its every weekend hoopfest at the Xavier University’s Pueblo Campus in uptown Cagayan de Oro City.
Among the players who sizzled in recent weeks of the exciting tourney are Batch 2002's Jan Balingit (22 pts), Batch 91’s Bernard Kiamco (28 pts), Batch 94’s J-Bong Falcon (20 pts), X-United’s Erwin Raagas (21 pts), Nine 2-3’s Pacio Valencia (26 pts), Batch 2000’s Jay-R Valledor (30 pts) and Vamos Onse’s Wellmax Sario (22 pts).
