“Bagama’t malayo pa ang landas na ating tatahakin, buong dangal nating masasabi na napakalayo na ng ating narating,” he said.

Dela Rosa also honored former brigade commanders for guiding the unit through major security challenges, including the Marawi siege, and recognized soldiers for their resilience in complex operations against threat groups.

The event also paid tribute to outstanding military personnel and civilian partners for their contributions to peacekeeping and development initiatives.

Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr. commended the brigade for its unwavering commitment to protecting communities and promoting peace.

“Hindi lamang ito paggunita sa mahigit limang dekada ng serbisyo, kundi pagkilala rin sa sakripisyo at kagitingan ng ating mga sundalo,” Adiong said, reaffirming full provincial support for the brigade’s security and peacebuilding programs.

Guest of Honor Maj. Gen. Yegor Rey P. Barroquillo Jr., commander of the 1st Infantry “Tabak” Division, lauded the brigade’s role in strengthening peace and order in the province.

“The success you have achieved has brought pride not only to the Tabak Division but to the entire Philippine Army,” Barroquillo said, adding that the brigade has helped “win the hearts and minds” of the Maranao people.

As it marks its 52nd year, the 103rd Infantry Brigade, together with the provincial government, reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining peace, strengthening partnerships, and advancing long-term development in Lanao del Sur.
