THE Philippine National Police in Region 10 has a new regional director following a major reshuffling of leadership in five regions.
Brigadier Gen. Rolindo Suguilon has replaced Brigadier Gen. Jaysen de Guzman as director of the PNP Regional Office-10 (PRO-10), in an order issued by PNP Chief Gen. Nicolas Torre III.
Maj. Joanne Navarro, spokesperson for PRO-10, said the reshuffling took effect immediately.
De Guzman will now head the PNP office in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, where he is expected to oversee the region’s first parliamentary elections in October.

Suguilon, a native of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, previously served as acting director of the PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
He also held key positions as provincial director of Misamis Oriental and Misamis Occidental and commanded the PNP Region 10 Mobile Force Battalion.
“Suguilon has a deep understanding of the security landscape and peace and order situation in Northern Mindanao,” Navarro said.
The reshuffling is part of Torre’s first major leadership revamp. It includes new appointments in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon) and the National Capital Region. In Davao Region, Brigadier Gen. Joseph Arguelles has replaced Brigadier Gen. Leon Victor Zamora Rosete as regional director.
