DAVAO CITY – The Department of Health Region 11 has recorded a total of 50 recoveries from the 90 positive cases of Coronavirus disease (Covid-19) as of yesterday, April 11.

However, 14 of the total number of Covid-19 patients have died.

It also said of the 90 cases recorded, 74 are from Davao City, 9 are in Davao del Norte, 3 in Davao Oriental, 2 in Davao del Sur, and two in Davao de Oro. Meanwhile Davao Occidental remains Covid-19 free as of Saturday.

The agency continues to advise the public to stay at home, observer social distancing, and regularly wash hands.

Meanwhile, DOH announced on Saturday the modification of terms for patients under investigation (PUIs) and patients under monitoring (PUMs) to categorize Covid-19 cases.

Cases are now to be called confirmed, suspect and probable cases.

Those tested positive for Covid-19 will be considered "confirmed" cases while, those with symptoms but remain untested will be called "suspected" cases.

Those who are still awaiting results will be called as probable cases. (PNA)
