THE 3rd Romee Jose Subere Memorial Football Cup 2025 is set to take center stage on October 11 and 12, at MGV Sports Park in Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City.
Organized by Goalbound Productions, the two-day tournament aims to bring together football players of all ages for a spirited weekend of competition and camaraderie.
Tournament categories and cutoff datesThe competition will feature multiple age and skill divisions, with cutoff years as follows:
U7 Mix – 2018, U8 Mix – 2017, U9 Mix – 2016, U10 Mix – 2015, U11 Mix – 2014, U12 Boys – 2013, U13 Boys – 2012, U15 Boys – 2010, U17 Boys, and U17 Girls – 2008
Above 40 – 1985, Soccer Moms – open category
Match schedule
On Saturday, October 11, games will include:U7 Mix, U9 Mix (5v5), U11 Mix, U13 Boys, U15 Boys, U17 Boys, and U17 Girls (7v7).
On Sunday, October 12, divisions will feature:U8 Mix, U10 Mix (5v5), U12 Boys, Women’s Open, Men’s Open, Above 40, and Soccer Moms (7v7).
Registration and participation
Teams may register for P2,000 each to participate.
The annual event, backed by Magis FC, Cagayan de Oro–Misamis Oriental Regional Football Association (CMORFA), and Philippine Football Federation, continues to honor the legacy of Romee Jose Subere while fostering grassroots football development in Northern Mindanao.
