LAPOK Elementary School in Talakag, Bukidnon celebrated the culmination of the National Learning Camp (NLC) 2024 and the kickoff of Brigada Eskwela with great enthusiasm and a sense of achievement on Friday.

School head Johnmark C. Oligario highlighted the significance of these events as milestones that pave the way for a brighter future for the young learners.

The event saw the participation of around 250 students from kindergarten to grade 6, who received various school supplies.

These included cleaning materials, school supplies, and bags from generous donors such as Mhuiller, the Kiwanis Club of Northern CDO Elite, the Kiwanis Club of Golden CDO, the Royal Knights Eagles Club, and the Women's Manpower from the Philippine Army.

In his message, Oligario extended heartfelt congratulations to all the campers and volunteers who completed the NLC program.

"Your dedication and active participation are truly commendable. To the parents, thank you for your continuous support," he said, acknowledging the crucial role of families in the success of these initiatives.

The school also expressed its deep gratitude to the stakeholders who participated in the events.

The school management specially thanked the dedicated school head Oligario, for his leadership and efforts in making these programs possible.

The acknowledgment extended to NLC coordinator Lindy Lou V. Laga and the volunteer teachers for their generous contributions of time, skills, and knowledge over the last three weeks.

Additionally, the school appreciated the civic-socio organizations from Cagayan de Oro City for their support and contributions.

Oligario also expressed sincere gratitude to the stakeholders of Barangay Lapok, represented by Hon. Wilbert Enecito, and leaders including members from the said various organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Northern CDO Elite, the Kiwanis Club of Golden CDO, the Royal Knights Eagles Club, Mhuiller, Bukidnon Women's Organization, and representatives from DepEd Bukidnon and DepEd Regional Office.

The involvement of high-ranking officials and representatives from the Philippine Army, including Major Julius Ellezo, was also acknowledged.

Their unwavering support played a significant role in the program’s success, benefiting around 250 school children from kindergarten to grade 6.
