ILIGAN CITY — The Army's 1st Infantry (Tabak) Division has been recognized for its outstanding performance, receiving a Plaque of Recognition for achieving the second-highest rating in the evaluation for the CGPA Streamer for Overall Excellence for Calendar Year 2025.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, conferred the award during a formal ceremony.
Yegor Rey P. Barroquillo Jr., division commander, accepted the plaque on behalf of the unit.
The recognition highlights the division’s performance in advancing operational effectiveness and institutional development within the Philippine Army.
Antonio G. Nafarrete, commanding general of the Philippine Army, commended the division for its commitment to excellence and adherence to the highest standards of military service.
Marcos also congratulated the unit, underscoring the role of disciplined and mission-focused forces in strengthening the Armed Forces and safeguarding national security.
